Many of our flash panel installation jobs create a very modern and contemporary look simply because architectural steel is a different kind of building material than brick or wood. That being said, the beauty in modern manufacturing is that these building materials can be created to offer the appearances of traditional components but without their natural weaknesses. The Wayne project is a great example of that. We installed a 24ga flash panel system but one that emulates the look of both brick and wood. The wood paneling on the front is warm and inviting while the brick flashing panels on the rear blends in with the other buildings in the neighborhood. There's even paneling on a top story walkout that looks like stone. Yes these types of aesthetics may be considered 'faux'....as in 'faux real a very cool look.'
